TERMS OF USE
Clear boundaries protect the family and the work.
These terms govern use of the Long Pathways website and secure platform. A separate written engagement controls hands-on transition-management services.
Effective September 18, 2026 · Document version 2026-09-18.
Platform purpose
The public website explains Long Pathways transition planning, records and coordination services. It is not a public buyer marketplace, legal service, fiduciary accounting system, clinical practice, appraisal service, household-goods carrier, household-goods broker or freight forwarder. Flat-fee estate sale and vehicle sale coordination requires a separate written scope.
Eligibility and emergency boundary
The website and secure services are intended for adults who can enter a binding agreement or participate under appropriate adult authority. The service is not directed to children and is not an emergency, health-monitoring or crisis-response service. Call 911 or the appropriate local service for immediate danger or urgent medical needs.
Transition Assessment & Pathway Plan engagement
The $495 Transition Assessment & Pathway Plan is a one-time standalone service. It includes review of the approved intake, coordinator organization of established facts and open questions, a personalized 30-day action checklist, a coordinator-reviewed 30/60/90-day roadmap, a plan presentation and six months of Family Portal access. The checklist is a paid plan deliverable, not a free generic PDF. Additional services remain optional. Payment may be completed through Long Pathways' Stripe-hosted checkout after the household contact and applicable terms are confirmed. If the same household later enters a signed Pathways Start, Guided Pathways, Pathways Complete or Pathways Custom engagement, the $495 planning payment is applied once against the Long Pathways service fee shown on that engagement's emailed invoice. The credit is nontransferable, has no cash value and does not apply to third-party charges, travel, reimbursable expenses or project reserves.
Managed Provider Administration
Pathways Complete and Pathways Custom may include Managed Provider Administration when expressly stated in the signed scope. This may include organizing provider options and documents, coordinating schedules, communicating client-approved instructions, administering authorized payments from a funded project-cost reserve and maintaining completion records. Final provider selection and consequential spending approvals remain with the client or authorized representative. Unless a signed addendum expressly establishes a different lawful arrangement for a specifically identified non-regulated service, each outside provider contracts directly with the client and remains responsible for its personnel, licensing, insurance, work and performance.
Service retainers and project-cost reserves
A service retainer secures Long Pathways planning and coordination services. A separate project-cost reserve may be required when Long Pathways will administer approved outside expenses. The applicable signed agreement defines permitted uses, approval thresholds, reporting and reconciliation. Payment of either amount does not create or expand insurance coverage and does not make Long Pathways the provider of an outside service.
Private plan delivery
A completed $495 Pathway Plan may be released through a private, time-limited link after the applicable agreement and arrangements are confirmed, discovery is complete and human quality review is finished. The recipient is responsible for protecting the link and any printed or saved copy. Long Pathways may revoke or replace a delivery link when correction, privacy or security requires it. A dated printable copy is a snapshot; later authorized Portal changes are not automatically reflected in an earlier copy.
Sale and donation service boundary
Under a separate written Asset Disposition scope, Long Pathways may coordinate independent estate-sale companies, buyers, dealers, auctioneers, consignment providers and other sale channels. The client makes the final selection, signs transaction and title documents, and receives sale proceeds directly. Long Pathways does not take ownership, accept property on consignment, determine deductibility or issue donation receipts.
Authority representations
A coordinator, professional, owner or representative who records or approves a sale, donation, transfer, release or disposition represents that they have obtained the owner’s direction or hold current authority sufficient for that action. Users must not rely on portal access, a family relationship, an invitation, or being named in a document as proof of present legal authority. Long Pathways may pause activity, request supporting documents or decline coordination when authority is uncertain.
Disposition and tax records
Authorized coordinators and professionals may record the person or company carrying out a sale or donation, the buyer or receiving party, approval, amounts, fees, handoff evidence, receipts and a designated accountant or tax professional. Reports may be downloaded and transmitted through an approved secure channel. Long Pathways does not determine fair market value, charitable status, tax basis, deductibility or reporting treatment and does not provide legal, appraisal, accounting or tax advice.
Accounts and invitations
Provide accurate information, including your current mailing address, protect access to your sign-in account and invite only people who should participate. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
SMS Messaging Terms
By opting in to Long Pathways SMS Updates, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Long Pathways LLC, the messaging program operator, including messages about appointments, scheduling, transition coordination, account activity, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. For support, contact info@longpathways.com. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
Authorized participation and client control
Workspace participation, decision authority and report release are separate controls. A household invitation grants only the role selected by the owner or authorized representative and may be revoked. Each external report release requires approval identifying the intended recipient, purpose and included records. Long Pathways may retain an audit record of access and release decisions.
Client-directed virtual assistance
At the client’s request, Long Pathways may organize information, facilitate communications, maintain schedules, preserve provider documents and record decisions already made by the client or authorized representative. Unless a separate lawful written agreement expressly provides otherwise, Long Pathways may not sign a provider contract, accept an estimate, select a provider, incur a provider charge or otherwise bind the client. Administrative support surrounding an interstate move does not include procuring or arranging transportation.
Shipping and pickup
Recipients may request parcel shipping or pickup only for items linked to their account. Every request requires owner or properly authorized representative approval before payment, release or scheduling. Parcel fulfillment is separate from interstate household-goods transportation. Any approved shipping charge and payment arrangements are handled outside the public website and do not create ownership, authority or a right to release.
Authority and Estate Mode
Portal access, an invitation, family relationship or being named in a will does not itself grant estate authority. Representative-only controls require the applicable Long Pathways review. Legal entitlement and court requirements remain the responsibility of the authorized representative and counsel.
User content
You retain rights in content you submit and grant Long Pathways permission to host, process and display it as needed to provide the service. You represent that you may lawfully share the content and direct its use within the workspace.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious material; misrepresent authority; access another household without permission; interfere with security; scrape the service; or use the platform to harass, defraud or evade legal duties.
Third-party services
Movers, appraisers, auctioneers, estate-sale companies, consignment providers, buyers, donation recipients, shippers, storage providers and other specialists are independent third parties selected by the owner or authorized representative. The client contracts with and pays them directly. Long Pathways is not a party to those contracts and does not become the provider’s employer, agent, joint venturer, guarantor or insurer. Their eligibility, services, personnel, terms, custody, payments, receipts, insurance, warranties and charges remain their responsibility. When an option is recorded, the workspace can identify its information source, alternatives considered and the authorized person’s selection rationale. Long Pathways does not accept referral compensation from interstate movers, and an option presented for comparison is not a guarantee, endorsement or final selection.
Payment processing and larger Pathways
Stripe processes the one-time $495 Transition Assessment & Pathway Plan payment through its hosted checkout. Long Pathways does not receive or store complete card or bank-account numbers. Pathways Start, Guided Pathways, Pathways Complete and Pathways Custom are not purchased through the public website; after the written scope and agreement are approved, Long Pathways sends the applicable invoice separately by email. A payment receipt does not itself establish ownership, authority, a scheduled appointment or authorization for work outside the paid scope.
Insurance information
Any public general, professional or cyber liability summary or certificate is informational and remains subject to the applicable policy’s terms, exclusions, conditions, effective dates, available limits and claims history. Separate policy limits are not added together. Insurance information does not create coverage, guarantee performance, insure an independent provider or household property, or replace the responsibilities stated in a signed agreement.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Family Portal Early Access features may change to improve security, usability, accessibility or compliance. Material household Early Access and professional subscription changes are handled under the Portal and Professional Terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided for practical coordination. To the extent allowed by law, Long Pathways disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect losses, third-party acts, unauthorized user content or decisions made outside our written service scope.
Governing terms
These Terms, the documents linked in the Legal center and any applicable signed engagement form the agreement according to their scope. Electronic acceptance and records may be used to evidence agreement. Arizona law governs without displacing non-waivable consumer protections. Disputes should first be raised with Long Pathways in good faith; unresolved claims may be brought in the state or federal courts serving Maricopa County, Arizona.
