LONG PATHWAYS FOR PROFESSIONAL REFERRAL PARTNERS

Introduce a client. Follow authorized progress. Remain in your professional role.

Attorneys, financial professionals, care professionals and senior-living organizations can introduce a client, understand the coordination process and—when separately authorized—follow limited progress for that specific matter.

A referral does not create access. Professional visibility requires separate client authorization and remains matter-specific, purpose-limited and revocable. No subscription or seat charge. Long Pathways provides the client-specific quote and written scope directly.

A CLIENT-SAFE PROFESSIONAL HANDOFF

A trusted introduction should not create unrestricted access.

Long Pathways can receive a professional introduction, speak directly with the client or verified representative and recommend an appropriate starting point without treating the referrer as the household decision-maker.

Any later professional access is separately approved for the individual matter. It does not permit the professional to edit the family record, change recipients or make household decisions unless independently documented authority applies.

WHO IT SUPPORTS

Referral and advisory roles, each with narrow client-approved visibility.

Elder-law and estate attorneys

Introduce a client, provide a limited directive-source summary and review client-authorized progress without editing the family record.

Financial and wealth professionals

Connect clients with practical household coordination while retaining your financial, trust or advisory role.

Care managers and aging-life professionals

Introduce a household that needs belongings, move, home-continuity or family coordination beyond the care plan.

Senior-living and healthcare partners

Offer families a clear next step for the household work surrounding a move, discharge or change in living arrangement.

Real-estate and relocation professionals

Refer clients who need an organized belongings or household plan before property, move or sale work can proceed.

Professional fiduciaries—when referring

Use this path when advising or introducing a client; use the authorized-representative path when exercising documented authority.

CLIENT-BY-CLIENT WORKFLOW

Introduce, authorize, coordinate and report—one client at a time.

01

Introduce the situation

Begin with a general description or client-authorized referral. An introduction alone does not create household access.

02

Confirm client permission

Long Pathways contacts the client or verified representative and confirms who may share and receive information.

03

Scope the client service

The client or verified representative selects the appropriate Pathway and approves the written scope.

04

Coordinate the approved work

Long Pathways organizes the household work while the client retains decisions and outside-provider selection.

05

Share authorized updates

When approved for that matter, the professional may view permitted reports and communicate with the assigned coordinator.

PROFESSIONAL PORTAL SUPPORT

Three practical ways to keep an authorized matter moving.

The professional workspace is designed around referral clarity, matter-specific visibility and documented review—not unrestricted access to a family’s record.

01

Refer a client securely

Introduce a client or household without creating access prematurely. Long Pathways records the referral source, reviews the request and coordinates the appropriate next step.

  • Provide contact details, location and a concise situation summary.
  • Identify the service being considered or ask for a recommendation.
  • Preserve the professional and organization as the original referral source.
  • Create a referral lead for review—not an automatically authorized household.
02

See plan and financial status

For an authorized matter, keep the client’s current Pathway, approved scope, invoices and payment status in one understandable view.

  • See the active Pathway and approved plan documents.
  • Review permitted invoices and payment status for that matter.
  • Send a plan or scope-change request to the assigned coordinator.
  • Keep sensitive payment credentials out of the professional workspace.
03

Review estimates and requests

When the client or verified representative grants the appropriate authority, review provider estimates or budget requests and return a documented response.

  • See the item, provider, amount and coordinator explanation together.
  • Approve or request changes only within documented authority.
  • Return a note to the assigned coordinator without altering the family record.
  • Preserve the request, response and status in the matter history.

LIMITED, MATTER-SPECIFIC VISIBILITY

Approved progress without unrestricted household access.

An authorized professional can review permitted milestones and reports for the individual matter while the assigned Long Pathways coordinator maintains the operational record.

DIRECTIVE-SOURCE CONTROL

The source is preserved; the working plan is separately reviewed.

INSURANCE & INDEPENDENT-PROVIDER CONTROL

Commercial and professional coverage with clearly separated responsibility.

Long Pathways maintains commercial general liability, professional liability and cyber liability coverage for its covered operations. The client retains final provider selection. Complete and Custom may include defined Managed Provider Administration; unless a signed addendum expressly provides otherwise, each provider contracts directly with the client and remains responsible for its own personnel, insurance, custody, pricing and work.

THE COMPLETE CLIENT SERVICE RANGE

A referral can lead to the right level of support—not one default package.

The client or verified representative selects the Pathway. Related household and asset services are considered separately when the situation calls for them.
